Advisory 8 and 9 Website

Welcome to the 2019/2020 school year! We will use this site to keep track of upcoming assignments and team events. Students and parents, please visit this site often to see what's happening in the Montessori classes!

What's New:

Parents - please take a few moments to fill out the PARENT E-FORMS found on the Montgomery Middle website. As a means to save paper, most forms required will be done online. You will need to complete the Parent Verification Forms, the Parent Volunteer Forms, and you can also pay your student fees online.

​We have an Aqua Lab!

Over the past year we have been building an Aqua/Marine Lab in room 227. In the Lab we will be able to experience first-hand the complexity of a marine ecosystem. We are about to start our first two projects in the Lab. The first project is a partnership with the Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans where we will be raising Chum Salmon from eggs to fry, which we will be releasing into Stoney Creek. The second project is attempting to set up a clown fish breeding program. The students will be blogging the whole experience each week on our Aqua Lab website.

We want to thank the CMS and Montgomery School for supporting us with the purchasing of some of the needed equipment for the lab. We hope to one day make the Aqua Lab self-sufficient, but at this point we could greatly use donations to help pay for needed supplies such as food, salt, test kits, and filtration media.
